VMS opportunity- Schubert House Pollinator Garden
Clean up after the freeze. The Schubert House Pollinator Garden did not fair well, at all. Most notably, the two pomegranate trees are gone (one has sprouted at the root base, however). I was finally able to get some chain saw action to get them down this past Sunday, so the rest of the garden is ready for our TLC.
A good thing, though: Milkweed we planted year before last has come back! Hopefully the Monarch’s I have seen in the area found the plants and have laid eggs. We shall see!
Bring gloves, lobbers, hand tools, water and bug spray. We also can use a ladder to trim up the laurel trees.
