VMS opportunity: Schubert House Pollinator Project

The regular workday for this project is the 4th Thursday of each month. The time will vary seasonally.

Hello, TMN Buddies!

Let’s bring in the New Year with energetic workdays at Schubert House (address 183 E. Hempstead Street, Giddings, Texas 78942):

We are setting up regular workdays for the 4th Thursdays of the month, beginning with Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.  We will probably be done by 11:30.

We will do a winter clean-up/prep for cold weather.  If anyone has some ideas about how to deal with a pesky vine, I’m all ears!

Whether or not you are familiar with the history of Schubert House, this a great opportunity to learn while we work and work-off those excess holiday indulgences!

Please bring tools (lobbers, gloves, trowels, small saws, trimmers); protective items (hat, sunscreen, repellant), and of course WATER!!
