10:30am – Advanced Training Program: Walk with Fireflies by Mary Dobberstine & Alyssa Goforth, project leads for Galveston Bay Area TMN Glow Patrol Firefly Survey Team

Join these 2 fellow master naturalists on guided virtual “walks”—from a daytime exploration to nighttime journeys that reveal fireflies in action. Photos and videos illuminate the story showcasing firefly habitats, life cycle, anatomy, flashing patterns, and mating behaviors. Discover differences among species, as well as distinctions between males and females.
