VMS opportunity: Stephen F. Austin State Park
The Brazos River bottomland forests take on a new identity when Springtime changes to Summer. So does our chapter’s wildscape garden project at the park headquarters/park store building. We will be sprucing up the grounds in and around the wildscape the morning of Thursday, June 18 at 8:00. All are invited and encouraged to participate. Light cleaning and plant ID is on the to-do list so we should be wrapped up before the heat sets in.
Dress appropriately, bring plenty of drinking water. Regular hand gardening tools should be all we need.
