Summer Clean Up at Stephen F. Austin State Park

VMS opportunity– volunteer hours SFA State Park

The Gideon Lincecum Native Wildscape at SFA SP is ready for it’s early summer clean up. Most of the spring wildflowers in the bed have gone to seed and some of our familiar undesirables have encroached inside. The grasses and perennials still need some TMN love PLUS you may leave with a handful of native Bluebonnet seeds!

We will meet at 8:00 AM on Thursday, July 1 at the park headquarters building. Bring your normal gardening tools, including plenty of water and sunscreen. Afterwards all are welcome to hang out and explore the park if you like.
