Volunteer Opportunity: Attwater Prairie Chicken Refuge Workday

The Attwater Prairie Chicken Project is in conjunction with the Coastal Prairie Chapter. The effort is led by Jean Stipelcovich from the Coastal Prairie chapter. We will be removing plants that are disruptive to the native ecosystem of the Attwater Prairie Chicken as well as completing other tasks around the preserve.

Bring long sleeves, pants, protective shoes, and leather gloves if you have them (if not we got em!), and hand tools.
