Volunteer Opportunity: Trash Clean Up in Bastrop on the Colorado River

I am eager to share an upcoming River Access and Conservation Area volunteer event happening on Saturday December 6th from 8:00AM-3:00PM! We are hosting a massive trash clean up at one of our sites along the Colorado River in Bastrop, Texas. This site is called Horseshoe on the Colorado, it’s physical address is 142 Frances Loop Bastrop, TX 78602 and it’s coordinates are Lat/Long: 30.179637, -97.427311
This work day will consist of removing illegally dumped trash within the riparian areas along the river. We plan to have a roll off dumpster on site, and we need all the help we can get to tackle this. We want to protect the health and safety of the river AND show our RACA landowners how much we appreciate them and the land they open up to their community.
Sign up is required and please note that only mileage with our GLC region may be counted.
