Volunteer Opportunity: VMS Category: Winedale Landscape Project

WE WILL BE PLANTING 25 bare root trees around the pond at the foot of The Trail, and making wire cages to hopefully prevent deer from grazing on the tender new growth in  the spring. Depending on # of volunteers, it probably will be about a 2-2 ½ hour work opportunity.

Gloves, a spade, wire cutters, and rubber boots will be very helpful. (If you don’t have wire cutters, don’t worry, but bring a spade…(holes will be about a gallon size….small).

Winedale Nature Trail, east side of Campus. 9:30 a.m.
