Thank you to Gideon Lincecum descendants, David and Mark Lincecum, for sharing Gideon’s writings, family stories, and how the extended family continues to honor this exceptional man. Gideon saw how vital conservation is and was such a studious observer. We all learned so much at our March chapter meeting! (Special thanks to the whole Winedale pollinator garden crew for sprucing up around the Lincecum Arboretum marker and adopting it and the loop trail as part of their volunteer service project out at the Winedale Historic Center.)
