Celebrating our volunteer spirit!

New to the TMN GLC website is our GLC Milestones page. We all know the dedication of our chapter members who serve as chapter officers, project leaders, and hand’s-on volunteers in our many projects. Those hours really add up. On our new page, we celebrate our new members as they reach their initial certification, continuing members who re-certify each year, and our dedicated volunteers who achieve milestone awards of 250 hours and more. TMN-GLC members celebrate with Volunteer Recognition Event

  More than 70 TMN-GLC members enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship and celebration on Sunday, December 9th. In the first 11 months of the year, chapter members donated over 5,900 hours of service in support of conservation. We supported youth education (AgAwareness Days, Brenham ISD programs, LANDS, Family Science Nights), beautified our parks and public spaces with native pollinator gardens,  nature trails, and prairie plantings (Winedale, Washington-on-the-Brazos, Schubert House, Indian Creek, Monument Hill, Stephen F.
