What’s a Bioblitz?

September 24, 2025 by Lori Buffum

Calling on all nature lovers to partner up for pollinators. The Texas Pollinator Bioblitz begins October 10th! Do it on your own, do it with friends, get your family involved, attend an event. Using the iNaturalist app, everyone can be a citizen scientist from Oct. 10-26. For all the details, visit the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department website: https://tpwd.texas.gov/education/bioblitz .

Texas Master Naturalists can earn volunteer service hours by logging observations into iNaturalist. For tips on making your observations and recording your hours, see the website calendar entry.
