Texas Master Naturalists from all over the state converged in New Braunfels the weekend of October 25-27, 2013. Eleven members from the Good Water Chapter attended. They went on field trips to the Canyon Lake Gorge and to Bracken Cave. Other members went to sessions such as Dragonfly monitoring, Project Wet, and Social Media 101. There was much to see and to learn throughout the weekend.

Larry Swift was recognized for completing 250 of Volunteer Service.
Wayne Rhoden was recognized for completing 500 hours of Volunteer Service.
Winnie Bowen and Mary Ann Melton were recognized for completing 1000 hours of Volunteer Service.
The Good Water Chapter entered a chapter scrapbook, the chapter newsletters, the Youth Education Committee Project, and member Patty Ozga entered a beautiful dragonfly quilt.
The chapter project won 3rd place and a $250.00 grant.
Patty’s quilt earned the Best of Show award.
