For those individuals who have been through the TPWD training, the dates for this years events at McKinney Falls State Park have been announced: March 29th, April 12th, May 10th, June 7th, and October 4th.
The leader with TPWD is Lisa Roberts at lwroberts@att.net. When you let her know that you will be available to help with any specific event, she will put your name of a list at the front gate and you will not be required to pay the park entrance fee. Lisa gets there around 8:30 and always brings donuts for the workers.
The events last until about noon, when Lisa has drawings for door prizes for the kids who complete all training stations.
