BCNWR needs volunteers for Swift Fest 8/19/17

Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge needs your help to make the Kid’s activities during the annual Swift Fest event a success! Please consider volunteering from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017 to teach children the wonders of chimney swifts (migratory bird). Or volunteer from 2:30 – 4:00 to help us set up for the Kids activities at Swift Fest. Good morning all. We have a request for help from Dr. Karen Clary related to cactus work she’s doing at the LBJWC. The on-site tasks are listed below.
