The Balcones Chapter NPAT will be hosting a Work Day at Carrington’s Prairie. The Work Day will be held Sunday, January 25 from 1-3 pm. Carrington’s Prairie is located at 4806 Trail West Drive, Austin, Texas 78735. This will be the first Balcones Chapter event. Work will involve removing dead and down branches, trash and invasives. Volunteers will also be shown how to identify grasses and plants in their winter state. Volunteers should bring work gloves, trash bags, hand tools, water and a snack.
