Miller Springs Natural Area Workday(Cancelled due to rain forecast)

NPAT has scheduled a workday at Miller Springs Natural Area for Saturday March 21, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.  Meet at the Miller Springs Nature Center parking lot, northeast of Belton.  Charles Newsom will lead the work crew.  Some priorities include clearing juniper and non-native invasives, and reseeding a burned area.  Bring work gloves and tools. Directions:  From I-35 to Exit 292 (Hwy 121) just south of Belton.  Take Hwy 121 North to Lake Road and turn left.  Take the first right (North) onto FM 2271 past the Miller Springs Park entrance on the right.  Pass over the dam and make an immediate right into the Miller Springs Nature Center parking lot.
