NPAT Centex Chapter activities: April 20 and May 16

CENTEX CHAPTER

Chapter Meeting: Horned Lizards of Texas

When: Monday, April 20 at 7 p.m.
Where: Georgetown Public Library at 402 W 8th St, Georgetown, 78626
Carolyn Todd will talk about the Horned Lizards of Texas. She’ll also discuss the different species in this state. Carolyn is a member of the Horned Lizard Conservation Society.
(A steering committee meeting will be held at 6 p.m. We are still looking for members.)

River Ranch County Park Field Trip

When: Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to noon
Where: CR 282, Leander 
Join the CenTex Chapter of NPAT and NPSOT as we explore the meadow areas of this northwestern county park that is not yet open to the public. Mostly gentle terrain, walking on road base or “off trail”, adjacent to cedar break at a higher elevation.
