Clean Up at Liberty Garden in Taylor

A workday to clean up the Liberty Garden in Taylor is scheduled for Thursday April 30, 2015 starting at 7:00 a.m. until noon (if 7:00 a.m. is a bit early just come throughout the morning as is convenient).  Work will include weeding, pruning and some raking.  Please bring rakes, pruners and spading forks if you have them.  Also do not forget gloves and sunscreen.  Water will be provided.  For directions and additional information contact Harvey Shirk at 512-352-5965 or by email at [email protected]

Directions.  Go east from Georgetown on Hwy 29 or Chandler Road to Hwy 95.  Go(right) south on 95 to intersection with Lake Drive (3 traffic lights from 29 or Chandler Rd).  Turn right (west) and proceed 3 or 4 blocks to Murphy Park.  The garden will be in front of the park.
