2016 Golden-cheeked Warbler and Black-capped Vireo Symposium

Biodiversity Works is hosting the 2016 Golden-cheeked Warbler and Black-capped Vireo Symposium on January 28 and 29, 2016 at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, Texas. The goal of the symposium is to facilitate dialogue and discussion regarding the latest research, management, and conservation efforts pertaining to the golden-cheeked warbler and black-capped vireo.

Call for Abstracts

We are accepting abstracts for presentations, posters, and a panel discussion until November 4, 2015. Please refer to the guidelines in the Call for Abstracts.Registration information will be available later in the fall.

The symposium will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 8am – 7pm and on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 8am – 4pm. Presentations are expected to run from 9am – 5pm on Thursday and 9am – 4pm on Friday. The poster session will be held concurrently with the evening social, from 5pm – 7pm Thursday evening. A more detailed schedule will be posted here as the symposium approaches.
