Stream Team Core (Basic) Training Course – February 13

Stream Team Core (Basic) Training Course hosted by the Balcones Canyonlands Chapter

The class will be held on Saturday, February 13, from 10:00 to 4:00 pm, at:
Concordia University Texas
11400 Concordia University Dr Austin 78726.
The room number is yet to be determined.  I will let you know as soon as I find out

Training will be provided by Will Butler
          GIS and Research Associate
          Texas Stream Team
          The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment
          Texas State University – San Marcos
          
After the training, you will be certified Texas Stream Team monitors and can collect water quality data that is submitted into the statewide database.  The class is free.
After completing this course, you will be eligible to enroll in the Advanced Stream Monitoring Training hosted by the Good Water Chapter on March 5, to be held in the Agrilife Extension Office Training Room in Georgetown.

This is an approved Citizen Science Project.  Good Water Chapter is continually adding new water sites to monitor monthly.
