Odonata Survey at Berry Springs

May 4, 2017 by vickizardiackas

Mike Farley is setting up an Odonata survey for Friday May 19th at Berry Springs.  The start time will be 10:30 am and should be complete by 1:30 pm.

Anyone may participate.  You should bring water, a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and appropriate shoes and clothing.  We will tour open field prairies, streams, and pond edges.  Poison ivy and chiggers are always a possibility.  We will try to avoid the taller grass and unmowed areas, but circumstances could lead to this outcome.

We will meet in the lower parking lot near the donkey barn. Anyone wishing to confirm participation can contact Mike at spice9451@gmail.com.
