Berry Springs Annual Clean-Up and Pot Luck

September 7, 2017 by vickizardiackas

We will be having our Annual Fall Work Day/Pot Luck at Berry Springs Park and Preserve on Sat. Oct. 7th from 8:30am-3:30pm. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.  We will be sprucing up the flower beds, composting and mulching trees and shrubs.  At noon we will break for our Pot Luck Luncheon which is always a hit.

Email Susan Blackledge at susieblackledge@gmail.com to let her know you are coming so she can assign you a work area.

The park is located at 1801 County Road 152, Georgetown TX.

  • Meet at the Tonkawa Pavilion located on top of the hill across from the restrooms at 8:30 am. If you coming later or have other circumstances than please let Susan know by email.
  • What to Bring: Bring a hand pruning tool, weeding tool, loppers, sharp shooter shovel or hand spade, work gloves, and a water bottle. (You may not need all of these tools depending which area you are assigned to after you sign up.)  We do have some tools available but may not have enough for all.
  • Dress for the weather and for working outdoors. Sat. Oct. 14th is our Rain Date for the event. You will be notified by email should the date change for the event.

A SignUp Genius for the pot luck was posted on 08/27/2017.

If you  have questions about the event, contact Susan Blackledge, Park Manager susieblackledge@gmail.com or call 512-930-0040.
