Volunteer Training – Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge

We are holding a training for volunteers who’d like to help with our spring Bridges to Birding and Going Buggy educational field trips.

If you attend this training, we ask that you volunteer during at least one of our spring field trips. Snacks will be provided by the Friends of Balcones.

What: Bridges to Birding and Going Buggy Volunteer Training

When: Wednesday, March 21, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Where: Flying X Ranch 9406 S FM 1174 Bertram, TX 78605. For detailed directions to the Flying X Ranch, visit www.friendsofbalcones.org/Directions and look under Flying X Ranch.

Who: Master Naturalists or any volunteer who’d like to teach or assist with fun, educational, field trips on Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge.

Why: Attend this training to learn how to lead and/or assist with facilitating Bridges to Birding (5th grade) and Going Buggy (3rd and 4th grade).
