Hello Fellow Naturalists,
You are invited to join us for the Nature Tracking card swap from 4 cameras on the south side this Saturday at 12:30. Meeting in the first parking lot at Berry Springs.
In this area we have found a tree with Southern Flying Squirrels in it. After weeks of observing this single tree habitat with thousands of images we have moved on hundreds of yards away in all directions with the cameras, and we are still getting the Flying Squirrels at each location. This strongly suggests the population is greater than we first thought! Imagine if we had thermal imaging camera, observing these heat signatures from tree to tree! Someday maybe!
