We are a passionate group of diverse individuals based in Montgomery and Walker Counties, coming together to celebrate and sustain the natural world around us.
Our chapter meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month, except December, and are open to the public. For holdiay schedules, please check our calendar.
Our Mission
“To develop a corps of well-informed volunteers to provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities for the State of Texas”
Our Diversity Statement
“At the Heartwood Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists we strive to create an environment for our volunteers – and the public with whom we interact – that is both welcoming and inclusive to everyone, making us both stronger and better- positioned for future success. We are committed to welcoming different viewpoints, being honest with ourselves, and offering our members and supporters not just a seat at our table but a voice, as well.”
