City of Montgomery Arbor Day
March 8 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
The City of Montgomery and the Montgomery County Master Gardeners will hand out trees provided by W. G. Jones State Forest. The TMN booth will be next to the Master Gardeners to provide general information to the public about how to care for their new trees and on the Texas Master Naturalist Program. Volunteers are needed to organize and pick up materials at the W. G. Jones Forest Office, setup, work, and tear down the Heartwood booth at the event, and return materials to the Forest office. Set up begins at 8:30am and the event starts at 9am.
