Heartwood Chapter Video Wins State Contest

December 16, 2018 by

Heartwood members, Scooter Langley and Scott Ball, submitted a video that won the Best Video Contest at the statewide TMN Annual Meeting, held in Georgetown, Texas on Oct. 21-23, 2018.

The video showed volunteers planting the American Willows in Lake Livingston to prevent erosion and restore the lake edges.

This is the second year in a row that the Heartwood Chapter, the Friends of Lake Livingston and the Horticulture program at the Ellis Unit in Huntsville have won the statewide video project contest.
