Looking for Christmas gifts and want to give back at the same time?
The Spring Creek Education Society and the Monarch Project Educational Initiative are raising funds to benefit the Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden at Precinct 4’s Dennis Johnston Park.
The organizations will hold a bookfair at Barnes and Noble on Saturday, Dec.14, from 10 a.m. to closing at The Woodlands Mall, 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive in The Woodlands.
A percentage of all sales – including in-store, online, and cafe purchases – that use the bookfair code “Bookfair ID 12561767” will go to the purchase of an outdoor educational classroom at Harris County Precinct 4’s Dennis Johnston Park as well as new host and nectar plants for the park’s Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden.
The event will include special presentations, a children’s story time, holiday activities, and a gift wrap table.
