Classroom Renovation Completed

November 1, 2017 by

A host of TMN volunteers worked to renovate the classroom at W.G. Jones State Forest. The classroom is used for training classes and the monthly chapter meetings. The updates to the room include painting, cleaning, replacing ceiling tiles, ripping up carpet, installing new flooring and a new automated projection screen.

Before the renovation. Sharon Newsome and Debbie McCullen preparing for painting.

After the renovation.

The classroom is fresh and light. The walls went from brown paneling to a light green. The floor changed from brown carpet to engineered flooring that looks like hardwood.

John Warner led the months-long renovation by dirty, tired volunteers. Celebrate!
