Celebrate Texas Arbor Day by planting trees! Hosted by Texas A&M Forest Service, Trees for Houston and other local organizations. Volunteers are needed to help plant trees during the event. Event sponsors will plant over 250 trees and host a free tree giveaway for area residents.

Trees For Houston is looking for 50 volunteers to help plant trees along Cypresswood Dr. on Friday, November 3rd @ 9:00 am- 12:00 pm. Planting will be along the medians.
Parking will be along the inner lane of Cypresswood Dr., along the esplanade, at the corner of Cypresswood Dr. and Lakes of Cypress Forest Dr. Please use 2514 Hendricks Lakes Dr. to get you to the area. We will send out a detailed map close to the event to attendees that sign up.
Rules
- This is a general volunteer planting, participants of all ages are welcome!
- All individuals must be signed up to participate. You cannot sign up multiple people under a single “slot’. This means each member of a group must sign up individually. Do not include additional participants in the ‘Comments’ section, this will not count as signing up. If you are not signed up then you will not be able to participate.
- Everyone is required to check in and sign a waiver day of the event.
- Participants must wear closed toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle.
