Did you know that April 17th is Bat Appreciation Day? Join us in the nature center to celebrate the world’s only mammals capable of true flight with Jerrel Geisler and learn about the different species of bats that can be found here in Harris County and beyond. Afterwards, take a self-guided stroll through the park to visit our many bat houses to see if you can spot any of our furry, flighted friends.
