Birdwatching is one of the most popular hobbies throughout the world and is fun for all ages. As a matter of fact, about a third of Americans state that they enjoy watching birds in their natural habitat.
Migration season is just around the corner so come out and learn tips and tricks on how to quickly identify local and migratory birds. The program features both educational videos and photos and is led by longtime birder and photographer, Paul Gregg.
This is an ideal class for beginners and advanced birders alike. Bring a notepad, pen, and binoculars if you have them. There will be a limited number of binoculars to borrow. At the end of the class, we will have a short outdoor practical to practice and discuss our new skills. Meet inside the Mercer Visitor Center.
