Kendra Kocab
For the February program for Piney Woods, there is a CHANGE! Paul Gregg’s presentation will be delayed.
Kendra Kocab will be presenting “Winging It in Australia and Beyond”. Kendra will share her experiences during her solo birding trip to Australia and other locales. Travel with Kendra as she talks about the birds, mammals, and other wildlife she encountered in the Land Down Under. Along the way, learn some tips about travelling and birding abroad, especially when you are alone without a plan! The program takes place on Tuesday, February 21st, at 6:30 p.m. with social time at 6 p.m.
Kendra is a naturalist at Kleb Nature Center and the co-compiler of the Cypress Creek Christmas Bird Count with Fred Collins.
The February program for PWWS will be ONLY in-person and takes place on Tuesday, February 21st, at 6:30 p.m. (snacks & social time at 6:00 p.m.) at Dennis Johnston’s Big Stone Lodge. We have decided beginning with February that we are going back to in-person meetings only. Please join us at the Big Stone Lodge located in Dennis Johnston County Park at 709 Riley Fuzzel Road, Spring, Texas 77373.
Latest rules for bringing snacks: We are still not allowed to bring homemade items to the Big Stone Lodge (unfortunately) for social time. However, store bought items brought by members are welcome and NO LONGER have to be individually wrapped now. Yeah!
NOTE #1: This event is for personal enrichment. It does not count toward Advanced Training hours.
NOTE #2: This is an in-person presentation only.
