Building a Healthy Soil to Reduce Climate Change

September 25 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

This webinar is sponsored by the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance.

This talk provides insight into how managing soil health can serve as a climate change mitigation tool. Healthy soils play a vital role in our future when it comes to the health of our local water supply. The discussion will help attendees understand how healthy soils contribute to the reduction in greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere, the reduction in stormwater runoff, increased groundwater recharge levels, biofiltration of our drinking water and more nutrient-rich plant life and a reduction in irrigation.
