Certified Interpretive Guide training
June 23 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
The Coastal Prairie Conservancy, in partnership with the National Association for Interpretation, is hosting a Certified Interpretive Guide training this summer. Anyone interested or involved in the interpretive profession is invited to attend. This includes staff, seasonal hires, docents, and volunteers who give tours, provide public educational programming, offer presentations, or interact with the public at a museum, zoo, aquarium, nature center, historical site or park.
CIG training has proven again and again to be beneficial to and supportive of the missions of institutions that provide informal educational programming. I invite you to print the attached flyer and post it in high-traffic areas for your staff and volunteers.
