Christmas Bird Count – The Woodlands Group

It’s time to put the 2023 Christmas Bird Count on your calendar – just weeks away!
Date: Saturday, December 16
Time: 7:00 a.m.
Starting location: Kiosk at Creekside Park West, end of Dr. Anne Snyder Drive
This year our Woodlands group will be taking a different route! 😄 The new route will be more streamlined travel-wise and time-wise for everyone, to allow us to see the most birds at the best times and locations.
Here is a brief synopsis of the route:
Stop #1: Spring Creek Trails at Creekside*
Stop #2: Lakeside Park
Stop #3: Cattail Park
Stop #4: Capstone Park
Stop #5: Bear Branch Park
Stop #6: Breezy Way (Lake Woodlands)
Stop #7: Northshore Park
Feel free to attend all or just a few of the location stops.
*We’ll spend most of the time at Creekside (around 3 hrs) and shorter stops at all other locations. Most locations have restrooms (except Creekside).
