This conference brings together practitioners, academics, policy makers, businesses, and non-profit leaders from Texas and beyond to explore the less-known aspects of the complex, “wicked” climate problems facing our state. As an organization who focuses on outreach programs, parks operation support, nature centers, natural areas and resource conservation efforts, we believe the event will provide you with valuable insights into the challenges posed by climate change, and strategies for building a climate-resilient Lone Star State.
Date: Thursday, September 7, 2023 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Venue: Texas State University-San Marcos campus
