Register for a live winter weather training session hosted by CoCoRaHS Headquarters
Winter weather has already affected much of the country in some fashion or another, and we still have much of winter ahead of us. Measuring precipitation during the winter can be challenging when there is snow, sleet, freezing rain or a mix of them all. There are specific procedures for measuring and reporting winter precipitation. If you are in a part of the country where you will be dealing with winter precipitation, you should make it a point to review our winter weather measurements training. We are offering three webinars to present our updated winter weather measurements training. These webinars will give you the information you need to measure and report snow, sleet, and freezing rain so you are ready for whatever Mother Nature brings and will provide you the opportunity to ask questions. The webinar will be offered on the following dates and times:
Thursday, December 8, 1:00 pm Pacific, 2pm Mountain, 3pm Central, 4pm Eastern
Friday, December 9, 5:00 p.m. Pacific, 6:00 p.m. Mountain, 7:00 p.m. Central, 8:00 p.m. Eastern
Saturday, December 10, 11:00 a.m. Pacific, 12:00 noon Mountain, 1:00 p.m. Central, 2:00 p.m. Eastern
Please register by clicking on one of the dates above and you will receive an email with a link to join the live training session.
We will look forward to you attending, and thanks for all that you do for CoCoRaHS.
