What to Expect

Begin the morning with a special Coffee & Bites Mixer featuring special guest M. Sonny Garza, Vice Chair of the Houston Planning Commission, and Rudy Moreno, Jr., Deputy Director of the Houston Permitting Center.

Following the mixer and kicking off the event, enjoy welcoming remarks from Veronica Osegueda, Deputy General Manager of the Harris-Galveston Subsidence District. From there, join industry experts Carolyn White CERP, CPESC, ENV-SP, Resilience Manager at Harris County Flood Control District and Andy Newman, PWS, Chief Ecologist at The Earth Partners as they each present their insights on sustainable strategies to protect our watersheds. Their presentations will be followed by a moderated forum led by Christopher Browne, LEED AP, of the Bayou Preservation Association Executive Committee.
