Woodlands Christian Homeschool Fellowship Fieldtrip: March 24th, 2023 (9:30AM-12:00PM)
Participants: 40 youth (5-14 years old) and 10-15 parent chaperones
Location: W G Jones State Forest, 1328 Farm to Market Rd 1488, Conroe, TX 77384, Sweetleaf Trail and
Outdoor Classrooms
Volunteer Needs: 3 Educators, 3 Assistants, 3 Group Guides, 1-2 Material Prep
Educators: Lead 20-minute lesson and activity for a group of 10-14 youth (3 rotations). Meet with Jaden
Kelly once before the event to review the material and become familiar with the activity. (4-5 Volunteer Hours)
Assistants: Assist Educator at their station when needed. Help with lessons, pass out materials, and assist
youth. (3.5 Volunteer Hours)
Group Guide: Stay with a group of 10-14 youth, guiding through trials and calling out hazards as they are
noticed. (3.5 Volunteer Hours)
Material Prep: Assist Forest Education Coordinator in preparing and organizing materials for the event.
