Forest Fungi: Just How Vital are They?

Thursday, January 23

7:00pm

Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/98026371394

As we learn more about the role of fungi in association with the world’s vegetation, and especially in forests, it’s clear just how critical fungi are to healthy forests and other ecosystems. And oh so fascinating, too!

Spend some time with Teri MacArthur on January 23 to learn more about the various roles fungi play, as well as the protection they afford in underground networks.

Teri MacArthur has studied fungi since the late 1980s when she fell in love with “stinkhorn” mushrooms. She’s been a certified Texas Master Naturalist for 25 years, is a Lifetime member of The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N., and a founding member of the Pines and Prairies Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas. Teri is excited to spend an hour with you to talk about one of her deepest passions!
