Class Description: Become certified in Project Learning Tree’s Explore Your Environment: K-8 Activity Guide, an interdisciplinary environmental education curriculum.
14 hours of SBEC CPE and TEEAC credit. Lessons are TEKS aligned. Learn with foresters, biologists, educators, loggers, arborists, fire managers, and landowners who care for forest lands and make products we use every day. There will be a combination of tours including tree farm, lumber mill, and more! Hands-on learning will include resources and activities that you can bring to life in your classroom or school yard through citizen science, career exploration, and field study.
