ForUsTree Community Workshop
April 14 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
We’re excited to invite you to the ForUsTree Community Workshop on April 14, 2026 from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Deputy Darren Almendarez Community Center (10918 Bentley St, Houston, Texas). Join us for this free workshop and learn more about how the ForUsTree initiative is increasing tree canopy, strengthening forests, and employing young adults across Harris County. This is also your opportunity to provide feedback on the initiative, ensuring community voices are incorporated to strengthen this work.
The event will feature:
- Harris County Precinct 2 plans for tree planting at James Driver Park
- Texas A&M Forest Service tree planting, selection, and care tips
