Friends of Lake Livingston Volunteer Opportunity

This is an opportunity to oversee youth at a special Friends of Lake Livingston planting event on June 7 starting at 8:00a (for volunteers) at Carolina Creek Christian Camp, 84 Wimberly Lane, Huntsville.
There are about 90 youth from Camp Hope America – Ft. Worth participating in a program at Carolina Christian Creek Camp for the week. Camp Hope America is a national organization which
provides camp programs for kids exposed to domestic and sexual violence. Camp Hope has their own counselors and staff who will also be present. Volunteers are needed to oversee areas including aquatic plantings, macroinvertebrate study, and the building of artificial reefs. You may choose to be in the water or stay dry. Boots and life vests are provided.
