Garden Day at Ace Hardware

This is an opportunity to talk about planning for fall planting of natives and preparing for whatever winter we may get, as well as water saving info and upcoming classes, events and activities of the groups in attendance. Plan to be present and share your knowledge with The Woodlands Township residents who visit the store that day.
ACE is trying to find a good selection of native plants as they did last year – marking them with a sticker indicating they are on Woodlands Water Agency’s rebate list. Perhaps WWA will again be able to have a table at the event to explain the many rebates available.
Volunteers are needed from 10am to 2pm for this year’s event. There is tight space in front of the store, so the groups attending will be sharing table space. Plan for small displays and answering questions of the ACE customers who stop by.
