“Girl Scouts Love our State Parks!” Weekend at HSP

Attention Hike leaders! This is a great way to show off your skills !
AND Please, If you have never led a hike before, sign up!!! This is a great way to gain some skills and to share your knowledge!
Ranger John needs TMN’s to help lead these hikes and identify plants, trees, bugs, etc.
When: September 9 from 10:30-12:30
Where: Huntsville State Park, Raven Lodge
Leaders are to arrive at Raven Lodge by 10:30 and find Ranger John Herron.
Girl Scouts will be divided into groups, and the hikes will take place simultaneously around 11am. to 12pm. There should be 2-3 leaders per group.
Dress appropriately, and bring water, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, your cell phone with iNaturalist and maybe a field guide or two.
