Join The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N. for the Going Green Sustainability Lecture: The Woodlands Recycling Report on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Going GREEN is a free lecture series provided to the public. Membership is not required to attend.

The efforts of The Woodlands Recycles organization (now The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N.) were the driving force that resulted in the award winning recycling program in The Woodlands Township today. Zoe Killian will discuss the current state of recycling in The Woodlands Township and how residents can support the sustained success of our curbside recycling program. Learn how much material is recycled in our community, how you can recycle right and help fight contamination. Come ready with questions about which items are accepted in The Woodlands.

Speaker
Zoe is the former Recycling Program Coordinator for The Woodlands Township of 5 years and is currently the Keep Texas Recycling Program Manager for Keep Texas Beautiful. As Program Manager for Keep Texas Recycling, she manages and supports rural community programs across the state, communications, and training. She holds a BS from Texas A&M University and is a SWANA certified professional in Integrated Solid Waste Management Systems. In 2022, she was part of the Environmental Services Department team that won an award for Outstanding Public Education & Outreach from Keep Texas Beautiful for the Recycle Right cart tag education program.
