Huntsville Audubon will hold the Dr. Jimmie Long Memorial Christmas Bird Count on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026. Carol Reed is the coordinator. Anyone interested in participating can contact Carol at [email protected] or check their website/Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/106043736125741
They will meet the morning of Jan. 3 at 7am in Huntsville at the Starbucks at the intersection of I-45 and Hwy 30. Anyone who is interested in participating should contact Carol Reed beforehand by email. Participants are assigned to teams that cover ten areas within the Huntsville count circle. Please provide information on your level of birding ability, willingness to drive or ride, and the time you can be available that day. This info will used in forming teams. All levels of birding ability are needed and encouraged to participate!
