Invasive Apple Snail Egg-Case Removal Training

The San Antonio River faces a threat to its ecosystem by Giant Apple Snails. Giant Apple Snails (Pomacea maculata) are native to South America and highly destructive invasive species throughout Texas. The snails are voracious eaters of aquatic plants that take away foodstuff and habitat from the river’s native species.
