Targeted species: air potato, elephant ears, Japanese climbing fern
Time: 8:00-11:00 am – come when you can, leave when you must.
Location: Greenbelt behind 155 Rush Haven Drive
Park on Rush Haven near 155 Rush Haven Dr or on Sandpebble Dr. and then follow the ITF signs and flags to find us in the woods about 5-6 houses down on the left side of the property.
Dress for the elements with sturdy waterproof shoes or boots, garden gloves and hat; also bring bug repellent and water. Wear your Invasives t-shirt—or if this is your first time volunteering with ITF, claim your shirt!
Other helpful tools: eye protection, hand pruners, digging trowels, sharpshooters. Make sure your tools are labeled. We do have some lopping shears, sharp shooter shovels and mini shovels.
